I think we all know that feeling of not having accomplished what we set out to. I do, anyway! But you definitely did a lot, and you really prioritize relationships- and what is more important?! I am really struggling to make time for my writing, so I really feel you on that one. I think the secret is finding the little crevices in which to routinely fit it in. Let's do this!
I do this…end up feeling I haven’t made as much of my free time as I could have. But I do think my energy levels have changed since losing Dom…and that I need a certain amount of time just ‘idling’ like a car…I see it as an opportunity for my nervous system to reset from time to time.
I really loved everything about this, and like Tracy said below, it resonated. I was in awe of all you did when you listed it out, just like you were! I think we are constantly balancing the social and solitary needs of our souls. Too much of one can make us feel off kilter. What is beautiful to me is that when you made the time to write, what came out was a universal reflection that benefits us all.
Thank you for saying that. I was feeling down about my week until I listed out the things that I did. Hearing you validate my activities makes me feel all that much better.❤️

I used to commit to doing 20 minutes a day of writing. I would work to fit that in. Now that I have more time, I forget to plan for it!
I tend to make goals that are too big and then wind up doing nothing...
I’ve worked to keep things manageable. I find that small daily goals are best. They add up in the long run.
yes! this is my goal!
Hey Marcia, things are going well. How about with you?
Really loved your line "little crevices in which to routinely fit in..." <3
you have made my day- I had to look up the spelling of crevices, too!!
Smiling!!!!

Anyway, sounds like you did plenty to me 👌
Yeah, thanks! It’s good to get the affirmation from others.
